재단법인 노래의섬 소개

재단법인 노래의섬은 남이섬 내에서 연간 100회 이상의 특별공연을 개최하면서 신진대중음악인을 비롯하여 다양한 장르의 예술인들을 후원하고 있으며, 한국 대중음악 역사연구를 통하여 대중음악 발전을 위해 노력하고 있습니다.

Song Island Foundation, a non-profit organization which runs the Song Museum on Nami Island, contributes the development of Korean popular songs and Korean culture in general through research as well as hosting of more than 100 performances of various genres including pop music, classical music, theatrical arts, and dancing for purposing of supporting talented young artists.

재단법인 노래의섬이 운영하고 있는 노래박물관은 2004년 대중가요계 인사들의 적극적인 참여와 문화관광부의 지원으로 남이섬에 건립되었습니다.  노래박물관에는 한국 대중가요 역사를 조명하는 다양한 전시와 행사가 이루어지고 중국 민족음악가 류홍쥔 선생이 수집한 세계민속악기전시관과 다목적 문화공간인 매직홀을 운영하고 있습니다. 

The Song Museum, built in 2004, organizes a variety of exhibitions illuminating the Korean popular music history with the strong support of the Korean pop-music celebrities and experts, and proudly presents Liuseum which houses a collection of the ethnic musical instruments from all over the world donated by internationally-renowned composer and performer Mr. Liu, Hongjun.
